We’ve all seen people who are just naturally lucky. They’re the ones who manage to sail through life with more unexplainable “lucky breaks” and fewer disappointments than most people get. Success just seems to come easier for them.
Where most folks have to struggle just to get ahead, lucky people regularly have opportunities just plop down in their laps. Of course, they work hard, but that doesn’t fully explain the special treatment that life seems to reserve for them.
It almost appears that they were born with the proverbial silver spoon in their mouths. Or born under a luckier star than most mere mortals.
I wouldn’t exactly say I was exactly lucky, but I am certainly very happy and content with what life has thrown at me and I can honestly have no reason to complain.
Today, was a lucky day for me, well it all started with a trip to the shops (yes the favourite past time of mine) and I thought I’d just have a quick nose in HouseOfFraser, more importantly, I wanted to see if there was any ‘further reductions’ in my favorite concessions department ‘AFTERSHOCK‘.

Shocker!
I was actually left in SHOCK, as a dress that I’d had my eye on all summer was hanging on the shelf (well you maybe wondering what’s luck got to do with this?) well, this dress I’d had my eye on, I originally just couldn’t justify paying £100 for it…as I really never had anywhere to wear it to. I was waiting for it to go into sale and it did, but it instantly sold out. So imagine my delight, when there hung up in front of me, at the end of the summer sale was this gorgeous, sexy maxi dress….reduced to £20….

Lucky purchase
what a BARGAIN! It looked and felt so beautiful on, and I just can’t believe that I managed to get one, at a bargain price. Now I just need somewhere to wear it to…

Bargain!
Whilst in my lucky trip, I decided to scour the rest of the rails, for some more bargains and brought another, dress, again it was on sale at £23…just wicked!
Bargain Hunting for some, is almost equivalent to a sport. For me? its one of my major past times.
There’s a real sense of achievement when you pick up a bargain, ‘you know the feeling girls’….you almost have to let everyone know, how cheap the item is your wearing.
Why do we girls do that?

It‘s quite in here! Why not leave a response?
