Phew, where has this week gone?

It’s zoomed by and we’re almost halfway through already.

I’m getting quite excited about the weekend, too. The lovely peeps at Superdrug have give me two tickets to London Fashion Weekend at Somerset House.

I’m taking Miss K and together we’re going to have a nosey at what’s going on, with me pretending I’m a bona fide fashionista, darlink, and Miss K actually being one!

When I first told Miss K about it, she immediately exclaimed, ‘But what will I wear?’

I reassured her and joked that she’d look good in a bin liner if forced to wear one, so we may be seeing a new fashion trend emerging.

Truth be told, I am actually a bit nervous about what to wear, too. My Trollied Dolly dress is calling to me, so I might wear that and my Jigsaw belt… but I have no idea what shoes to wear.

The problem is last week, in true DG-clumsy fashion, I fell over while walking home and hurt my foot. It’s the most random injury I’ve ever had – my fourth toe to be specific. It hurts lots and, as a result, most of my shoes do, too.

How am I meant to look fabulous if the only shoes that don’t hurt are a pair of Pink Flash Velcro trainers?

However, I’m sure it’ll be great fun, even if I am limping like a crazy woman and Miss K is wearing a bin bag!
